Description
Equipping Minds in the Classroom
What does Equipping Minds look like in the classroom? Now you can see for yourself!
Equipping Minds in the Classroom is designed to be used in conjunction with the Equipping Minds Cognitive Development Curriculum. This program was created to build a bridge from the one-to-one therapy model to the classroom. You will see numerous videos of Equipping Minds being done in the classroom. We will focus on how to implement Equipping Minds into the school day in small and large group settings. Increase student’s attention, working memory, executive functioning, comprehension, thinking skills and social skills. These are the foundational skills for reading, math, writing, science, and work skills
Please know, this course is not meant to train you in the Equipping Minds games and exercises. I strongly recommend having the ROSES program which has over 500 step by step videos showing myself or an EM therapist working with a student. There are many additional handouts in ROSES which are not included in the teacher workbook. The professional development workshop is included in ROSES or can be purchased separately. You can also complete the EM certification program for our most in depth training.
Equipping Minds trains educators, therapists, parents, and other specialists in our multi-disciplinary approach, which increases anyone’s capacity to learn. Equipping Minds is used with learners of all ages and abilities including Autism Spectrum, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia, Gifted, Learning Challenges, ADD/ADHD, Traumatic Brain Injury, Memory, Comprehension, Down Syndrome, Processing Disorders, Dementia, Executive Functioning, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Communication Disorders, and Neurodevelopment Disorders.
