Pyramid of Potential

The Pyramid of Potential was created after working with students and finding that that they needed more than tutoring to be successful in school.  Finding the underlying causes of those struggles, and ways to strengthen them, is essential.

As an overview, the base of the Pyramid is Mind and Body Health. In order for the brain to be working at its best, nutrition, exercise, and stress must be addressed.

Next, one examines  Neuro-development which occurs  between pre-natal and age 3. We go through many stages that develop our brains and bodies, and open up pathways to our higher brains. This area is very easy to fix through targeted exercises, and the most powerful! During this therapy, we are integrating the primitive reflexes: Moro, TLR, Spinal Galant, ATNR, and STNR .

Next is Sensory-Motor Development. If we cannot see, hear, or feel well, it is difficult to get proper input to our brains. We need to be able to use large and small motor abilities to properly express what we know.

Our Cognitive Development skills, such as processing speed, memory, attention, and reasoning, are dependent on the other parts of the Pyramid.  Neuro-development and the  sensory-motor systems must be in proper working order to develop fully in the cognitive area.  Cognitive skills can then be taught and improved.

Academic success happens easily and quickly in a child who has developed the rest of the PYRAMID OF POTENTIAL.
