It is a difficult day when your child is diagnosed with a learning disability or neurodevelopmetal disorder. Your child may have been born with a neurodevelopment disorder such as FAS, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, Autism or they may have been struggling for weeks or for years already.
Know that there is hope for your child. We help children and adults with many different learning challenges, including the following:
- Dyslexia
- Visual Processing Difficulties
- Auditory Processing Disorder
- ADD – ADHD Learning Difficulties
- Autism Spectrum Disorders
- Fetal Alcohol Syndrome
- Language Disorder
- Dysgraphia
- Dyscalculia
- Sensory Integration Dysfunction
- Down Syndrome
- Traumatic Brain Injury
- Post Concussion Syndrome
- Memory Difficulties
- Cerebral Palsy
While your child may qualify for extra services at your local school, know that school schedules and budgets may limit a school specialist’s one-on-one time with your child. Our focus is on strengthening and connecting pathways in the brain through daily cognitive development training and equipping parents in the process. We are also available to train the interventionist at your child’s school. Many children who complete our program no longer require extra services or accommodations at school.
What We Do
We are free to focus entirely on your child in our time together. We first meet with you and your child for a visit in person or over the Internet. We identify the student’s current strengths and challenges through an assessment. We implement a cognitive development plan for your student. This plan involves intensive cognitive development exercises to strengthen your child’s challenge areas and increase their visual and auditory processing, working and long-term memory, comprehension, and reasoning skills. We have seen life-transforming results in the children we have mentored, including our own son.
